It’s true. An excellent coach isn’t in the huddle. They let their players play!
When it comes game time. You must trust your people to execute. The coach is not on the field with the players, so let the leaders lead in the moment. And, vice-versa, as a top performer, you know what to do… DO IT! The job needs to get done and you need to be able to be counted on to do it and to make the play!
The same goes for business, if you are a staff member, maybe a middle-manager, and you have been trained and you know what to do. You know what needs to be done by others to execute. THEN DO IT!
